All in all, a strong contender for game of the year
Customer Rating:

I remember how absolutely obsessed I was with the original 2 games in this series. This game, while not the cookie-cutter copy the die-hards were wanting, measures up to the same quality standards of the originals. I have played multiple playthroughs of this game already and can't put it away.
Is it Oblivion with guns? Maybe. I tried playing Oblivion a bunch of times but I couldn't last long with that game's terrible leveling system. This game uses a more standard point allocation system unlike Oblivion's increase through repetative use system. I felt more in control of how my character evolved. Such as, when I could put points to raise my Science (hacking) skill even though I didn't use it all that much until later in the game.
I did not have any technical issues installing or executing the game. There has been some crashes to desktop during play. And I have found a scripting bug which prevent me from completing a quest.
You do not have to run this game while online or logged in, or even with the disc in. (That last part is because I found that if you execute the Fallout3.exe file instead of the default shortcut, it bypasses the launcher check disc.) Which I praise. Thank you.
To any parents reading this, please keep in mind that this is a Rated M for a reason.
Great Game In Everyway
Customer Rating:

I played Fallout 1 and 2 and loved both of them. This is a different type of game but it oozes fallout atmosphere. The combat, content, and large sandbox environment is awesome.
LOTS OF REPLAY VALUE: There is so much to explore in this game you can play it twice and experience a lot of different content and areas the second time through.
THE 'M' RATING IS EARNED: The game is very violent and gory and has other adult content. There are no nipples or overt graphic sexual content(which is somewhat ironic considering the level of violence).
PERFORMANCE: This runs well on my top of the line last year PC.
SYNOPSIS: GREATE GAME! Get it!
Avoid GTA4...cough
