Good for one application
Customer Rating:

This skin is a thin silicone back cover, with a separate front cover which is attached. The fit on the remote is perfect. However, the adhesion between the two parts of the skin is less than satisfactory. The joint fractured on the third application. Which brings me to the second issue.
The skin is excellent, when applied (the first time, only). However, if used with a charger (rechargeable batteries for the Wii remote controller), the skin must first be removed. The skin is sufficiently thin that it could have been designed to fit on the charger without removal, but the knobs on the back (to enhance grip?) prevent contact of the remote with the battery charger contacts. (OK, I guess I could complain about the charger design, which has contacts that require very close proximity of the remote to the charger.) Clearly, and regrettably, the skin was not designed for use in the charger. (I did cut a window in the back of the skin for use with the charger contacts.) Thus, it must be removed to charge the remote. Which brings us to the first defect -- it cannot be R&R'd without destruction. This issue will also be important if primary cell batteries are used -- which need to be changed periodically.
These were inexpensive, so I chalk it up to experience, and continue to use the Nintendo-supplied silicone covers, removing them to charge the remotes.
Two stars for a perfect fit. No more because when the remote controller is either recharged, or primary cell batteries reinstalled, the cover will tear.
