Broan Filter
Customer Rating:

This is a filter for an unvented kitchen range hood. I have used them for years and found the quality to be "A number one". I'm a man who loves to cook, so I change the filter every six months. I usually purchase one at my local Lowe's Hardware Store as soon as I install a new one so I'll have it on hand. I change them in December and June. In 2009 I decided to try Amazon and found the experience delightful. For the last three or four years I have taken advantage of Amazon's shipping upgrade from standard free delivery for "Prime" items to second day air delivery. Deliveries are made primarily by UPS, but on occassion by Federal Express. Both services do great work. I find that ordering on a Saturday or Sunday and having the delivery no later then Wednesday ... to my front door ... a great convenience. Depending on where the item ships from, I sometimes get overnight delivery ... at no cost beyond my annual shipping upgrade fee. I do a lot of ordering using Amazon Prime. Using Amazon Prime with second day delivery makes my shopping convenient, pleasent (no traffic, gasoline costs, or crowds) and lowers my overall cost because of Amazon's very competitive pricing and and lack of local sales tax. I definately make the most of my annual $79 fee for this special service. If you shop a lot online, Amazon's 2nd day Prime is the way to go. I'm not associated with Amazon or anyone who is (though my youngest works for UPS), just a really satisfied sixty-year-old consumer. Did I mention Broan makes a great filter? Not taking into account the lower prices Amazon usually offers, my actual cost savings in the last six months have been $180. $120 from sales tax not charged and $60 from amazon.com credit rebates for using the Amazon Credit Card from Chase. I pay the card off each month, so I have no interest or fee expense.
