Editorial Reviews
As a senatorial aide, presidential speechwriter, and right-hand man to Speaker of the House Tip O'Neill, Christopher Matthews has seen it all--now he tells all while revealing the political "hardball" played by some of the great politicians. Matthews is currently Washington Bureau Chief for the San Francisco Examiner.

This book is required reading for an advanced government class. Although it was listed as slightly used it is virtually brand new. Delivery was prompt as promised.

I have really enjoyed this book. If one has an interest in politics, this book explains how the game of politics is really played.

More drivel from the liberal shill that is Chris Matthews. The most partisan person on cable news programs, none of what this guy has to say is interesting and this book confirms it. Waste of money. Read someone else like Mark Levin if you want to learn something. I'd give it zero stars if they allowed it.

Chris Matthews, one of my favorite pundits. Good book to keep in the political, reference section.

Matthews writes with such voice. The book can compel even the apolitical. A must read.
