All About Knowing
Customer Rating:
It's funny to read so many reviews of the same book and to realize that some readers did not give it the five star rating I did. It just goes to show that different people see things differently.
This was the first book I read on developing intuition - and has remained my favorite. I've read at least a half dozen books since, yet none of them has come close to opening my inner sight in quite the same way.
This is a guide that is chock full ( my, what a cliche!) of exercises that are fun to do. I have to say, this was the first time that I actually found the patience to follow a regimen so closely. I especially loved the journeling part.
My personal intuitive journal remains one of the best resources I have for self reflection.
Read this book. It will open your intuition. But then, you already know that :)

Customer Rating:
The title is not Zen, it refers to... Intuition. The book is about how to develop it. If you like doing endless exercises and keeping a journal, this book is for you. I found no value at all in this work, and very little information, despite the author's PhD claim and a lot of quotes by more famous authors. The theme of this book is a series of exercises designed to improve the reader's "Intuition".
There are many valuable, useful books in the self-help category on the market today that deserve recognition and praise (such as "Happiness Is a Choice" by Barry Neil Kaufman). This book is not one of them.
Dare to Find Your Self
Customer Rating:
This book is a readable, practical, and fun introduction to trusting your intuition and to gaining greater access to the wisdom within. Based on the premise that everyone has inside them all the resources to live abundant and happy lives according to each individual destiny, the book and the exercises are an invitation to transform your way of being in the world. The potential to live with exponentially greater power and satisfaction unfolds to the degree that the reader can accept it. I found that simply focusing attention on my intuition intensified the number and clarity of signals that I got, a clue to the potential power of Sharon Franquemont's thinking. Her style is direct, compassionate, and non-judgmental and full of anecdotes and descriptions that demonstrate the principles she espouses. Franquemont acknowledges the need to be in grounding relationships and to maintain effectively the responsibilities of everyday life while exploring the tools that are part of intuition. She tugs us gently into the spiritual realm and shows how it is intertwined with every aspect of our lives. This is a book that is both profound and friendly. I recommend partnering in this work. Work through the exercises individually, then check in with one or more trusted friends to compare notes and increase opportunities for synchronicity, the exciting things that happen when we begin to get our lives aligned with our purpose. Excellent read. Excellent tool for growth.
Gave me the confidence to hone and follow my instincts.
Customer Rating:
A textbook of techniques to follow for those who recognize their own intuitive qualities and wish to heighten them or for those who question the existence of intuition in others and themselves. Examples abound of those who have followed the directions of their souls after having become accomplished following Ms. Franquemonts course. One recognizes why we respond in different ways to the world around us and the centers within ourselves, how our brain dominance impacts on our choices and decisionmaking and problem solving. Intuition is described as a tool which we have failed to utilize. Having acquired the skills to do so we can redirect our lives towards their real and genuine purpose with the resulting joy we deserve.
