Summary: Thrill Read Superior
Comment: James writes titilating light, yet intense, fun reads and this is an example. They wind up being too
short because I can't put it down. Only regret: wish it was 1500 pages!

Summary: James Patterson does it again!
Comment: You will not be disappointed with this book. Patterson brings back an old enemy as well as new one.
Both are "on the edge of your seat" characters. I picked it up and didn't put it down until I
finished it. I couldn't wait to see what was happening on the next page. Love this author and you
will too.

Summary: Good Book
Comment: I had not read one of his books before. I will start reading other books he has written. I would
reccomend it for all.

Summary: No surprises
Comment: Nicely written, but predictable. The plot kept me interested in the story, but nothing surprised me.

Summary: A sad disappointment
Comment: I've only read one other Patterson book, that was years ago, and I'd hoped for better in Double
Cross. The jailbreak was outrageous, the parenting ludicrous and the "hero" not particularly
likeable. That would have made a difference, but Alex Cross just seems egocentric, irresponsible
and not anything like as insightful as someone in his so-called profession should be. I won't say
I'll never read another Patterson book but I will wait until it's a solid best seller and all the
reviews are in. I don't like to rely on such, but in this case it seems that in order to avoid
throwing away money it's the only way.
