Another great Lily book!!!!

Lily Robbins is now into becoming Outdoor Woman- and she's sure she can do it if she gets the camping gear she wants for Christmas. However, her parents are fed up with all the materilism of Christmas, and decide to take the family to a cabin to spend the holiday.
The plans take a turn, however, when a car wreck forces to them to stay in a high school gym with several other families. When a little girl gets in danger, will Lily be able to help her?
Parents of children 9 and under may want to use caution with this book, as there is a unwed teenage mother. However, Lily is a lovable heroine- an "everykid", yet very much herself. The lesson about materilism is well presented and made me think hard.
This belongs in every preteen's collection.
